Forest Bugs and Creatures - Clay Sculpting Workshop

In this clay sculpting workshop, you can shape your own bugs or creatures from Finnish red clay. The inspiration comes from endangered animals and insects - particularly species living in the Stansvik area, such as tree frogs and flying squirrels.

Your finished clay artwork can either be taken home or left as part of a growing installation displayed in Stoa's gallery throughout the summer as part of the "Nature Relations" exhibition. The workshop is free.

The workshop suits all ages, but children under 10 need a guardian with them. The space limits the number of simultaneous participants. Instructors are Minttu Pyykkönen and Emiel Riiko.

The workshop is held in the Terrarium classroom on the second floor of Stoa's entrance. Free admission.
