Forest Descent at Karhukallion
In the forest near Karhukallion, you can relax in hammocks while listening to poetry, live music, and the sounds of the forest. The event is free and open to everyone - hammocks are already set up on site.
The programme is not a concert in the traditional sense: acoustic playing and poetry recitation blend with natural sounds, and no one expects concentration or applause. You can listen, rest, or take a nap. Children under 10 participate with an adult. The duration is 60 minutes and the event is in Finnish.
Instruments: violin, jouhikko, and koshi. Facilitation: Verna Kuntsi and Satu Sipilä / Seikkailutaidekoulu.
The event takes place in the forest at Karhukallion in Roihupelto. Meeting point: the intersection of Viilarintie and Holkkitie. Raidejokerin stop (line 15): Kauppamyllyntie.
The event has a weather contingency - in heavy rain or storms, the gathering will not take place, and those registered will be notified of any cancellation the same day. Register: hanna.westerholm@hel.fi. You can also come to the location to ask about available spots.
