Plastic Alternatives on Display - PlastLIFE Project

This event showcases innovative materials that can reduce the use of fossil-based plastics in Finland. The PlastLIFE project develops and pilots alternatives to plastic as well as new business models for a more sustainable society.

PlastLIFE is a national collaboration project funded by the EU's LIFE programme, aiming to establish a sustainable circular economy for plastics in Finland by 2035. The project is coordinated by the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE), with participation from the Natural Resources Institute and the City of Helsinki, among others.

The event is open to everyone interested in sustainable materials and environmental solutions. Admission is free.
