Plastic Replacement Solutions - PlastLIFE Project

This event showcases innovative materials that can reduce the use of fossil-based plastics in Finland. The PlastLIFE project develops and pilots alternatives to plastic as well as new business models that support the transition towards a more sustainable society.

PlastLIFE is an EU-funded LIFE programme project and a comprehensive national collaboration initiative aimed at achieving a sustainable circular economy for plastics in Finland by 2035. The project is coordinated by the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE) and involves several key organizations, including the Natural Resources Institute and the City of Helsinki.
