Baby Cinema

Baby Cinema at Pasila Library offers free film screenings for families with infants. The programme features age-unrestricted films intended for adults - in a baby-friendly environment, the lighting is dimmer than usual, the sound is quieter, and movement is unrestricted. Baby sounds and needs are welcome.

Baby Cinema is held on Tuesdays every three weeks (summer break): 16.6., 1.9., 22.9., 13.10., 3.11., 24.11. and 15.12. from 13:00 to 15:00. Upcoming films can be found on the Baby Cinema Facebook event: https://fb.me/e/2DpEPzsyg9. You can leave film suggestions at the screenings, and we will try to implement them when possible.

The library has space for nursing and nappy changing, and the first-floor childcare room has a changing table and microwave. Accessible access is available from the customer car park (Veturimiehenkatu 3) and the main entrance (Kellosilta 9).

At least at the first screening, coffee will be served - the future is uncertain as it depends on finding volunteers for kitchen and display duties. If you would like to help, please get in touch!
