Park Walk - Vuosaari Parks

Vuosaari is Helsinki's largest and most diverse district. This park walk explores the landscape between Columbus shopping centre, the Aurinkolahti area, and Uutela's outdoor recreation zone, where the built environment, people, vegetation, and nature interweave as part of the green corridors built along the Gulf of Finland's shore.

The walk begins in Mustankivi Park, a successfully designed landscape artwork featuring stone boulders, perennials, shrubs, and meadows. Aurinkolahti has a constructed sandy beach and naturally sculpted smooth rock surfaces. At Uutela's shore, art merges with diverse nature and a human-created natural landscape along the canal.

The park walk departs from the end of Mustankivi Park, from Mustankivenraitti. The route is approximately 3.3 km long. Suitable for families with children and people with limited mobility who can walk at a leisurely pace.
