Stoa Youth Pride Festival

A youth Pride festival takes place on Stoa square ahead of Saturday's Pride parade. The event is aimed at 13-29-year-olds.

The programme features several workshops: a print workshop where rainbow prints are made on fabric bags (free bags are available in limited quantities, but you can also bring your own thin cotton textile), a sign workshop where Pride parade signs are created, and a pin workshop where pronoun and flag badges are made. At Sirkus Magenta's circus workshop, you can try circus equipment under instructor guidance.

The atmosphere is created by DJ, host and drag artist DJ Koolla, as well as indie artist Carma. Kennel club therapy dogs visit the event, and free hot dog buffet is served. At the entrance of Matthew Church there is also a jewellery workshop, yard games and street chalk art.

The library's rainbow shelf offers book tastings - bring your library card and you can borrow summer reading.
