Reading Dog Warma

Would you like to practice reading aloud? A reading dog is a patient listener who makes reading stress-free. With a reading dog, reading skills develop!

Lumon library has a new summer reading dog named Warma, who you can read to twice during the summer. The sessions are on Thursday 25.6. from 17-18 and Thursday 9.7. from 17-18.

Each reading session lasts a maximum of 15 minutes. You can read a book you bring with you or choose one from the library. The reading dog's owner is present during the session.

Age recommendation is 5 years and up.

Guidelines for the reading session:

Book your reading time at Lumon library at the information desk or by phone 043 825 1305. One reader at a time - With the reading dog you can practice reading aloud - Focus on reading - the reading dog is a reading buddy, not a playmate - Reading dogs enjoy being petted. Ask the owner's permission first - For all children under school age, an adult must be present
