Vaasankatu soi! fills the summer street with live music on two Saturdays: 27.6. and 25.7.2026 from 15:00 to 22:00. The event is organized by Helsinki Urban Art ry in collaboration with the City of Helsinki and Kaupunkitilat Oy. Admission is free.

On 27 June, the stage features rock trio Lala Salama, Susanna Leppänen who just released her Metsolat-themed album, Pambikallio with her revived alternative pop, Teini-Pää playing sweet indie-rock, and longtime lyricist Asa.

On 25 July, Juhlat takes the stage - a band that has earned critical acclaim and an Indie Awards nomination - alongside the ethnofuturistic antifolk band Dänkki Briha, Luukas Oja known for energetic performances and engaging lyrics, Kivesveto Go Go, ambassador of Kouvola punk creating modern regional songs, and rapper Laineen Kasperi with a distinctive style.
