Life Between the Pages (Book Sculptures and Collages)

The exhibition Life Between the Pages presents book sculptures and collages created as part of the project Even the Old is Beautiful by the Espoo-based association InterLab ry. The works are made by participants using books that were threatened with disposal as raw material.

In the exhibition, the book functions simultaneously as a carrier of text, material, memory, and the starting point for a new story. The project aims to promote recycling, ecological thinking, and sustainable creativity while preserving the significance of memories and objects as part of our shared cultural heritage.

InterLab ry is an Espoo-based association founded in 2017 whose projects combine collage, theatre, photography, film, painting, music, and virtual reality. The project is supported by the City of Espoo / Culture Espoo.

The exhibition is open during the library's opening hours.
