Shadows and Light - Fantasies and Sonatas
17/11 €
Pianist Sandra Landini's matinee offers a programme of sharp contrasts. Dora Pejačević's Sonata-Fantasia opens the concert, followed by Frédéric Chopin's Sonata No. 2 - a work particularly renowned for its funeral march. Chopin's second scherzo brings virtuosic energy, while the Adagio by Johann Sebastian Bach and Alessandro Marcello takes us briefly into the calm of the Baroque. The performance concludes with Francesco Bortoluzzo's fantasy, based on Rolf Løvland's well-known melody.
The concert is included in the museum's admission fee (17 / 11 €) and requires no separate payment. Museum cards are accepted.
Staff do not reserve seating, but you can reserve up to two seats by arriving early. Concerts are in high demand, so arriving early is recommended.
