Summer Trip to Lappeenranta

Hi! We are three young people from Helsinki. Want to join us and conquer Finland's map piece by piece - starting from Lappeenranta? Interested in seeing and experiencing Finland's cities? If you answered yes, this trip is for you!

Helsinki Youth Services is organizing a trip to Lappeenranta on 30.6. On the trip you will get to know Lappeenranta's landscape locally. Along the way you can expect beach treats, history, and churches and Lappeenranta's fortress that bring local atmosphere. We will also swim during the trip, so swimming ability is necessary. The trip is crowned by excellent local food and good company. All young people aged 13-17 are welcome!

You will walk a lot on the trip and weather-appropriate clothing is recommended. You need good hiking shoes and a good attitude - with them you will go far! The trip is free for participants, including transport and meals.

Registration for the trip happens by getting a permission slip from the youth leaders at Ruoholahti Youth House and returning it to the youth leaders at Ruoholahti Youth House. The slip is available from Friday 5.6. onwards and can be returned by Thursday 25.6. at the latest. The number of places on the trip is limited, so it pays to act quickly.
