The Finnish Defence Forces conscript band showband takes the stage at Espa!

MIL-Espa park concerts have been held every summer since 1927 in Esplanade Park. These entertaining concerts take place on Espa stage on summer Fridays, with different military bands from across Finland rotating as performers.

The musical programme varies depending on the ensemble - you might hear classical brass music, big band, traditional marches, and entertainment music, or a mix of all of these. The performers are always military musicians or conscripts completing their service in a military band.
