Meeting Art!

Helsinki's community centres are running pop-up workshops in meeting art at Merirasti Chapel in July 2026. Workshops take place on Tuesdays 7.7., 14.7., 21.7. and 28.7. from 14.30 to 16.30.

Meeting art is a multisensory, guided and step-by-step visual art activity rooted in Japanese Clinical Art. No previous art experience is needed - all materials are provided on site.

Each session begins with an introduction to the principles of meeting art, after which a trained instructor guides the group through the step-by-step process. Plan for about 2 hours and arrive on time, as the work progresses together as a group.
