Meeting Art!

Helsinki's community centres offer pop-up workshops in meeting art at Merirasti Cultural Space in July 2026 on Tuesdays from 14.30 to 16.30. Workshops take place on 7.7., 14.7., 21.7. and 28.7.

Meeting art is a multisensory, guided and step-by-step visual art activity that requires no previous experience in making art. The method is based on Japanese Clinical Art. Welcome to pause for a moment and try something new!

The work is led by a trained meeting art instructor. Please arrive on time, as the instruction progresses together as a group and step-by-step. The venue already has everything you need - just bring yourself!

The session introduces the principles of meeting art, after which you move on to step-by-step work under the instructor's guidance. It is good to allow approximately 2 hours for the work.
