Aili Järvelä Duo - Indiespa

Aili Järvelä is one of Finland's most compelling music creators, impressing both audiences and critics with her broad range of talent. She is known for her strong folk music background, but above all as a skilled singer-songwriter, composer, and deeply expressive performer.

Järvela's 2020 song Roihuvuori was selected among the 50 best song lyrics of the century in a reader vote by Helsingin Sanomat. Her latest solo album VUORI (2025) has received outstanding reviews, with journalist Pekka Laine naming it among the year's most significant Finnish releases. VUORI earned Aili Järvelä the award for best album of the year at the 2026 Indie Awards, and Järvelä herself was honoured as artist of the year at the ceremony. In April 2026, the album received significant recognition when it was awarded the Teosto Prize for its compositions and lyrics.

Indiespa is coming! The Indiespa concert series, which has showcased the latest and most interesting Finnish indie music on Espa's stage, continues this year with three evenings and six different bands.

The July and August shows offer summer audiences at Espa a range of sounds from delicate pop atmospheres to hard rock and roll. Performances at 5 pm and 6 pm, always free entry!
