Aili Järvelä Duo - Indiespa

Aili Järvelä is known for her strong folk music background and her work as a skilled singer, songwriter, and composer. Her 2020 song Roihuvuori was selected among the 50 best song lyrics of the century in a Helsingin Sanomat reader poll.

Her latest solo album VUORI (2025) has received widespread recognition: journalist Pekka Laine counted it among the year's most significant domestic releases, and in 2026 it was awarded both the Indie Awards prize for best album of the year and the Teosto award for the album's compositions and lyrics. Järvelä herself was honoured at the same Indie Awards ceremony as artist of the year.

The concert is part of the indiespa series, which showcases domestic indie music on Espa's stage. This year the series spans three evenings and six different bands in July and August. Performances start at 17:00 and 18:00, free admission.
