North Shore Celtic Ensemble is a dynamic community of young musicians from Vancouver, Canada. Starting in 1998 as a purely Celtic music ensemble, the group has evolved over the years into a boundary-crossing, passionate musical exploration - a place where young people can share and discover music together.

The band's original compositions draw inspiration from Canadian, Québécois, and Cape Breton musical traditions as well as jazz, combined with creative arrangements of more traditional Celtic songs. Seven released albums celebrate their music and West Coast roots. NCSE offers a full spectrum of musical experience that defies categories and transcends traditional genre boundaries - surprising every listener.
