Emma Salokoski Voices

Emma Salokoski Voices is a vocal ensemble, choir and collective that creates music across genres. The lineup varies between 10-20 members, with a focus on ambitious rhythm music performed in their own distinctive style.

The group has created sound painting improvisations, developed modern cabaret under the direction of Sara Meller and Marcus Groth, and performed from the main stage of Flow Festival to art exhibitions for mental health rehabilitation clients.

The roots trace back to the 2010 Kuorosota programme and the Helsinki team led by Emma Salokoski. What began as a small a cappella women's ensemble has grown into a larger collective bound together by shared spirit, peer support and friendship.
