Emma Salokoski Voices

Emma Salokoski Voices is a singing collective, choir and ensemble that creates music without preconceptions and across genre boundaries.
The choir has created sound painting improvisations, developed modern cabaret under the direction of Sara Meller and Marcus Groth, and performed at various events ranging from the main stage of Flow Festival to art exhibitions for people in psychiatric rehabilitation.
At the heart of everything is ambitious rhythm music performed in their own distinctive style. Emma Salokoski Voices performs in formations of 10-20 members.
Emma Salokoski Voices traces its roots to the 2010 Kuorosota programme and the Helsinki team led by Emma Salokoski.
What began as a small a cappella women's choir has since grown into a larger collective, yet the group remains bound together by shared spirit, peer support and friendship - qualities that are evident in everything they create.
