Children's Dance Afternoon: Parent-Child Contact Dance (ages 2-5)

In this parent-child contact dance session, the child and adult dance together. We warm up, explore physical contact in different ways, and practice simple contact improvisation and movement exercises.

No previous dance experience is needed for the workshop. During the sessions, we focus especially on building confidence in physical self-expression and experiencing the joy it brings. The space includes a small quiet corner where children can read or do other activities if dancing becomes tiring or overwhelming.
