Children's Dance Afternoon: Parent-Child Contact Dance (ages 2-5)

In this parent-child contact dance class, the child and adult dance together. The session includes warm-up, exploration of physical contact in different ways, and simple contact improvisation and movement exercises. No previous dance experience is needed.

The classes focus especially on building confidence in physical self-expression and the joy it brings. The space also has a quiet corner where children can read or do other activities if dancing becomes tiring or overwhelming.
