Live Music: BONFAJA

BONFAJA is a duo created by two independent artists, Robban and Jose, where personal paths meet and create something new. It is not merely a collaboration, but a shared commitment to bring soul projects into the world through music.

BONFAJA's yet-unreleased EP Kokkotuli is a ritualistic whole in which a sound drawing from African roots and northern spirit merges with a nature-connected atmosphere and communal rhythm through singing and rap. The themes revolve around respect for life, encountering fate, and belonging.

BONFAJA's live performance brings this world to life: the live show is a physical and participatory experience where rhythm makes you dance, music speaks to the soul, and the audience is invited to become part of a shared moment.

The duo offers a unique perspective on Finnish music: the new and the ancient meet, distant and near cultures blend, and the live experience continues to resonate in the audience long after the performance ends.
