Pihalla is a band from Helsinki made up of young musicians. Their organic and tradition-respecting style draws inspiration from traditional Finnish rock and blues.
The band's musicians aim to convey a range of emotions through their compositions and instruments. This creates easily accessible songs with different moods - one might get your feet dancing while another forces you to pause for a moment. In 2024, the band released the single Syvään uneen, and since then they have worked on new songs, including Omenapuu. The latter track generated significant interest on TikTok even before its release.
The band has received particular praise for their convincing live performances. In early 2026, they were seen warming up for Aaro630, known for his chaotic rock style and dark lyrics, during his album tour, which included a show at the legendary Tavastia.
When band members were asked to describe the feeling of touring in their own words, they chose to pull an answer from their TikTok comments: "Now the guys go through the shower to the barber and to the construction site!".
