Indie Music Night: Anni Luoma, Avalova, AWA

Anni Luoma is a singer-songwriter from Lapland who writes music about everyday life, dreams, romantic relationships and friendship from the perspective of a forty-year-old woman.

Anni Luoma has already released two EPs: Häkkilintu (2023) and Joulun ihme (2025), as well as her debut album Pidä kiinni - päästän irti in spring 2025. At the On the Rocks show, Anni Luoma performs with her band.

Avalova is a singer-songwriter from Turku who started her career in 2023. Avalova released her debut album Onnen avaimet in February 2025. The artist's debut single Hän kantaa and her most-streamed track Yksi sydän kerrallaan have received significant radio play.

Avalova creates modern gospel pop with fresh tones. Her music draws influences from hip-hop, R&B and kasari pop. Avalova takes the stage at On the Rocks with her band.

AWA makes magical pop that blends spirituality and popular culture. This artist-producer has released two EPs, one full-length album and nine singles throughout her career.

On her latest EP Kummitusjuttuja, AWA employs elements rarely heard in pop music, including singing bowls, healing sounds, bowed guitar, throat singing and Morse code. AWA will release her next EP in 2026, from which two singles have already been released: X-files and Abduktio!
