Extremerun

Extremerun is Finland's largest fun run, held at Hakunila Sports Park in Vantaa on 13-14 June. The event has a long tradition - the first Extremerun was held and celebrated in Vantaa back in 2010.

In the race, participants tackle an imaginative obstacle course - each in their own style! The heart of the event is shared fun, and every participant is rewarded. Along the way, you'll likely spot more colourful fancy-dress costumes than traditional running gear among the competitors.

Extremerun is not just a running event - it's a celebration from morning to night! First comes the race, then the dancing: throughout the day participants conquer the course, soak up the festive carnival atmosphere, and party well into the night.

Participants may even see themselves on TV, as Extremerun is filmed for an hour-long programme broadcast on Nelonen.

Extremerun's only mission is to spread joy. The event wants to get everyone moving, in their own way. So come and have fun, alone or with friends, together with us.
