Emile ry goes Suomipop Festival 2026

Emile ry is recruiting volunteers for the Suomipop Festival in Jyväskylä on 9-11 July 2026. Volunteer work is compensated: participation is free and grants access to the festival grounds at a reduced rate on other days as well.

The role involves maintaining order at the scooter park - volunteers keep scooters within a designated area so they don't block emergency exits. Positions and shifts are distributed as follows:

- Thursday 9.7. / 2 positions / 15:00-00:00 (9 h)
- Friday 10.7. / 4 positions / 14:30-00:00 (9.5 h)
- Saturday 11.7. / 6 positions / 14:30-00:00 (9.5 h)

Volunteers receive the following benefits: free entry to the festival grounds on their volunteer day (including before and after their shift), discounted festival tickets for other days (1 day 20 €, 2 days 40 €, 3 days 60 €), the option to eat at food stalls at staff prices during their shift, and access to a refrigerator for storing personal food. The discounted ticket is personal and cannot be purchased in advance - it is redeemed at the festival gate under your name during ticket office hours. The benefit applies even if the event is sold out.

Registration takes place via the kide.app service starting Friday 15.5. at 12:00 and closes Sunday 17.5. at 21:00. You can also register friends from outside Emile. Registration is binding: you commit to showing up and working your entire shift, or finding a replacement. Register only if you are certain you can participate.
