Jyväskylä Sinfonia: From Zero to Hundred - A Strings Evening

In Jyväskylä at Paviljonki on 19 November at 18:00, conductor Lorenzo Passerini leads a strings evening featuring four orchestras - Minijouset, Juniorijouset, Siltajouset and Campus Sinfonietta. The concert is part of Passerini's Finnish tour, which spans two cities. The programme includes works by Arvo Pärt (Summa and Fratres), Ralph Vaughan Williams (Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis and Concerto Grosso), and the premiere of Simone Piraino's Iam et nondum. Viola player Grigory Tsyganov participates. Paviljonki is a congress and events centre in the city centre with a main hall seating over 3,000.
