American EBM duo Youth Code returns to the stage after a five-year hiatus and brings their tour to Finland as well. The band performs at G Livelab Tampere on Friday, June 12.

In Youth Code's music, led by Sara Taylor and Ryan George, you can hear influences from New Order and Depeche Mode, but significantly heavier and more aggressive. The band's synth-pop and dance rock has been described as a sparkling fusion of steely industrial and hardcore angst.

The EP "Yours, With Malice" from spring 2025 is marked by 90s industrial metal and machine groove influences. Captivating melodies and Sanford Parker's powerful production, where polished and thundering drums take center stage, drive the album forward. Creating the album has also been a journey for the band toward reflecting on the group's existence and its next steps.

The band achieved major popularity and critical acclaim before the pandemic. Youth Code's early releases "A Place to Stand" (2014) and "Commitment to Complications" (2016) took the band on tours with Chelsea Wolfe and Skinny Puppy, as well as on major arenas alongside My Chemical Romance and Nine Inch Nails.

In 2026, Youth Code celebrates their return with an extensive world tour. In Finland, they were last seen in 2018 as an opener for Carpenter Brut at The Circus in Helsinki, and now the duo takes the stage for the first time on their own club shows.
