On Tuesday, 23.6., Dubrovnik Pride-week's programme opens with the fantastic Syskofrenia! Syskofrenia is the creative playground of singer-songwriter Saga Söderström, combining deep emotions with playful music and energetic band sound. Syskofrenia's music and live performances are fierce attitude, tender presence, and fearless human existence, with its primary purpose being to comfort and inspire courageous authenticity.

"Syskofrenia's new chapter is my own rebirth as a visible and heard queer artist, and I hope our songs and concerts can be a sanctuary especially for those whose true selves the world around them has tried to hide and who are frightened by the world's occasional cruelty. I promise that even though there is much hate and malice in the world, we are here too, we who choose every day to choose love, connection, and care over fear and hate. And even though I am also afraid, in the presence of art and community I always feel for a moment something so beautiful and loving that the fear disappears.
