On Friday 26.6, the wonderful SONIA performs in the Dubrovnik Pride-week programme! Sonia is a rising artist from Jyväskylä who captivates with her soulful and honeyed voice. In her alternative pop music, you can hear influences from both 070 Shake and Jordan Rake.

Sonia released her long-awaited debut album Punainen Kuu in spring 2025. The album's first single Kontrollii launched a new and confident Sonia 2.0 era. In autumn 2025, the artist also appeared in the latest season of the series Mist sä tuut?, where Finnish rap classics receive new voices. The series features, among others, Sonia's interpretation of Gettomasa's hit Muijii stadis. The radiant Sonia started 2026 with the single PLAYBOY, which climbed to Spotify's Top 50 list after its release.

Sonia's strength lies in reflecting her own emotions in her lyrics, which allows her live performances to bring the audience closer to the emotional world conveyed by her songs. The connection between the artist and the audience is important to Sonia both on stage and in her music - the goal is to be anything but a distant artist.
