The People's Rumor Mill is a life-affirming play where ordinary Finns finally get their say. At the heart of the story are Heikki and Kaija - a couple whose everyday life is colored by both laughter and frustration. When neighbor Mähönen gets involved and raises Heikki's blood pressure, there is no shortage of events - or drama.

The play brings to the stage societal wrongs and the sore points of everyday life - things that often go unnoticed but live strongly in people's conversations. The result is a tragicomic whole that moves, makes you laugh, and sometimes makes you think.

From this folk comedy, everyone can find their relative, their neighbor, their coworker, or even themselves.
