CoolHead Live: Pilven Piirtäjät + Nössö Nova

The CoolHead Live concert series continues on Wednesday, 1 July, when Pilven Piirtäjät and Nössö Nova perform in Viikki. Doors open at 18:00, Nössö Nova starts at 19:00 and Pilven Piirtäjät at 20:30. Tickets at the door 35 € if available.

Pilven Piirtäjät is a project by Kaisa Korhonen and Axel Ehnström. Both are award-winning songwriters who write songs for artists in Finland and abroad. Pilven Piirtäjät emerged from a desire to make music without mainstream constraints - the songs were created for pleasure after work days and on Sunday mornings. The lyrics offer unusual perspectives on life's big and small questions, and the music draws inspiration from, among others, Leevi & the Leavings and the echo of old stairwells.

Nössö Nova is a band founded in 2022 by four friends - Niklas Nordling, Frans Astala, Eetu Aallo and Severi Koivusalo. Their Finnish-language pop music draws inspiration from distant rhythms and relatable everyday moments. The band released their second album Pitäis ja pitäis in September 2025 and embarks on an album release tour following a successful festival summer. Recognizable multi-part vocals, gentle harmonies and nuanced arrangements are the band's trademark.

Accessibility: The event has an accessible entrance and accessible routes as well as an accessible toilet. A customer's assistant can enter free of charge. The concert area is amphitheatre-shaped, so there is good visibility to the stage from many places even when seated. Wheelchair tickets are available and toilet passes are in use. Loaned assistive devices or hearing loop are not available.
