Japanese band Sex Virgin Killer visits Finland for the first time. Since their formation in 2008, the band has evolved from speed and thrash metal and hardcore punk towards an increasingly dark darkwave sound. The album "Devil", released in late 2023, introduced coldwave and darkwave influences, while "Angel" (March 2026) leans almost entirely towards darkwave expression - a style that also dominates their live performances.

The Helsinki trio Ravenous Medicine combines d-beat and heavy metal. Founded in 2021, the band draws inspiration from albums such as War and Pain, Power from Hell, Scandinavian Jawbreaker and Coup d'état. In April, a comprehensive career retrospective cassette was released: DISTOPIAN PUNKING METAL!

The evening opens with Alucard, a solo project from Oulu founded in 2020. Its sound combines first-wave black metal, speed metal, hardcore punk and music from the Castlevania video game series - including horror-film-like funeral marches. Artistic director Poison Mind composes and records the songs himself, but for live performances he assembles a backing band. Until now, Alucard has only performed in front of an audience in Japan, making the Helsinki show a rare opportunity for fans of GISM, Gastunk, Dokken, Bathory and Seikima-II.
