MOONWARDS is a Helsinki-based band whose sound moves through melancholic and nostalgic tones, drawing inspiration from 1980s-90s alternative rock, shoegaze, and new wave. The band's two EPs - "Moonwards" (2024) and "Moonwards II" (2025) - have found audiences in both the domestic underground scene and the international shoegaze community. New material is promised later this spring.
BUZHOLD is a four-piece Estonian band that set out to pursue a shoegaze sound but ended up creating something entirely different. The result is heard on their debut album "What It Meant?", released in February 2024 through British label Noon Records, which combines grunge's raw energy, shoegaze's atmospheric beauty, and post-rock's expansive landscapes. Line-up: Edvin Kabanen (vocals, guitar), Christofer Nõmm (guitar), Art Ainsoo (bass), Kristofer Volf (drums, backing vocals).
ALEKSI KII & AAVEET - Aleksi Kii is a rock artist, songwriter, and guitarist from Tampere, known from the post-punk cult band Grave Pleasures, the band Šamane, and his collaboration with Dave Lindholm. His latest album "Varjokuvia" was released in October 2025 and draws from 1990s rock, grunge, emo-rock, and singer-songwriter traditions. Aleksi Kii & Aaveet perform the album's songs live.
