Vinha Book Festival 2026

Vinha Book Festival takes place for the fourth time on 24-25 July 2026 in Ruovesi, in the garden of Vinha bookshop. This two-day festival brings together Finnish authors, visual art, and live music. Tickets are exchanged for wristbands at the entrance.
Author interviews form the core of the programme. Interviewers are Juha Roiha and Annina Holmberg. On Friday 24 July, the garden stage hosts interviews with Antti Tuominen, Anne Vasko, Hannu Väisänen, Anneka Ahoniemi, and Tuomas Hoppu. Friday evening music is provided by Liisa Akimof and Topi Saha. The programme begins at 14:00 with the opening of Hannu Väisänen's exhibition "Pagans and Healings" at Vinha Gallery and concludes around 22:00.
On Saturday 25 July, the programme starts at 13:00 with an interview with Roope Lipasten. Throughout the day, Riitta Jalonen, Emma Alftan, JP Koskinen, Olli Jalonen, Anneli Vehkoo, and Kauko Röyhkä take the stage. The evening culminates with music by Kauko Röyhkä and the band Josen Pimeä Puoli, with the programme ending around 22:00. Programme changes are possible.
Accessibility: Vinha yard is sand and grass. The event is located in the garden and on the upper floor of the barn, accessed via a steep bridge. The bookshop's first floor is accessible, and the accessible toilet is located there. An assistant receives free entry with the person being assisted using the same ticket.
