Purple Fest - Indie Music Festival

Purple Fest is a three-day indie music festival on the shore of Lake Katumajärvi in Hämeenlinna, 24-26 July 2026. This is the festival's second year, and in 2026 it expands to three days with Sunday's family day. The event venue is located at Lohitie 4, 13300 Hämeenlinna.

Gates open daily at 12:00. Entry is by printed or digital ticket, and tickets are also sold at the gate if advance purchases run out. With a wristband, you can leave the area and return. Payment is accepted by card and cash. There is no cloakroom, so bring everything you need.

Friday & Saturday - K-18 festival days
Two stages feature live programming from morning to evening. The area also has karaoke, food, and a beach bar.

Sunday - family day
The main stage features music for children and the young at heart (artists to be announced in 2026). The beach stage hosts performances by children and young people. Children under 7 and pensioners enter free.

The event area is grassland and sandy ground. A staircase leads to the beach stage, where festival staff can assist if needed. Wheelchair access is possible, but there is no induction loop or wheelchair lift. Assistants must purchase their own ticket. You can reach the venue by bus, bicycle, or car - there is free parking near the area. Public transport schedules can be found on the Hämeenlinnan Joukkoliikenteen website.
