The Beauty of a Summer Evening - Jussi Makkonen & Nazig Azezian

Cellist Jussi Makkonen and pianist Nazig Azezian perform a summer concert in July 2026 at the Glass Palace of Harjattula Manor. The duo has performed for hundreds of thousands of listeners in Finland and around the world - from the United States to Europe and the Middle East.

The programme features Finnish music, including works by Jean Sibelius, as well as international music ranging to Astor Piazzolla's tangos. Alongside the concert, an exhibition by visual artist Satu Ojanranta titled "The Soul's Cycle of Seasons" is on display, also open 6-24 July 2026 in the Paasikivi Institute's art corridor. Satu Ojanranta is a self-taught artist from Salla whose acrylic paintings follow the rhythm of northern nature and the seasons.

The event area is a licensed serving area. An assistant receives free admission with the person being assisted on the same ticket.
