If the event is not sold out, student tickets will be available at the door before the show starts for 20 € each. Student tickets require a valid student ID or other proof of student status. The concert is all ages. School-age children under 18 can also purchase a student ticket at the door if the concert is not sold out in advance. Children below school age get free entry.

Mike Wheeler is a respected blues artist from Chicago and a regular performer at Rosa's Lounge and Kingston Mines, as well as at Chicago's annual blues festivals. Wheeler has recorded 8 albums for Delmark in a modern city blues style with jazz influences, as evidenced by the masters he has shared the stage with - from Buddy Guy and B.B. King to George Benson. Wheeler is known for his ability to adapt to the featured soloist, and has therefore frequently performed with artists such as Shemekia Copeland, Koko Taylor, Jimmy Johnson, and Son Seals.

At his concerts in Finland and Estonia, Wheeler is accompanied by the Highway band, which consists of Finland's blues elite: Jonne Kulluvaara (guitar), Kari Kempas (harmonica & vocals), Jan-Olof Strandberg (bass), and Petteri "Mustekala" Määttänen (drums). The band performs 2 x 45 minute sets.
