Herra Ylppö + Serpico

Herra Ylppö's new band is succinctly named Herra Ylppö. It is a heavy rock outfit that will be heard both live and on record in the future. The band features Herra Ylppö (vocals), Hamid Moeini (electric guitar), Kaisa Y (electronics and vocals), and J. Savolainen (drums), who previously played with Herra Ylppö in his earlier band Maj Karma. The Herra Ylppö band is currently in the studio recording a new album to be released in 2026. The acclaimed single "Hyvästi yö" has already been released from the album.

- While the earlier IHMISET band represented the poppiest direction, this new outfit enters the heavy rock category with electronic additions, without forgetting the raw power of guitar rock, says Ylppö, who last released new music in 2020.

The evening opens with Serpico! Uncompromising respect for rock traditions from Pori to the world - Serpico's long-awaited album "Dressed In Flesh" is a multifaceted whole that combines all the essential elements of rock and metal, from double bass lines to explosive riffs. The new album has received attention both in Finland and abroad, and its singles have been heard on Yle, RollFM, and several international radio stations.
