Virve Rosti, Freeman and Menneisyyden Vangit

Menneisyyden Vangit celebrates its 35th anniversary with a special concert in the park at Laukon kartano. The band is joined by brass players from the Vantaa entertainment orchestra. Virve Rosti and Freeman founded the group in 1991, and since then four albums and numerous concerts across Finland have followed.

Tickets are exchanged for wristbands from 12:00 at the estate's ticket offices. Advance tickets include access to the Laukon Kesä art exhibitions from 12:00 to 18:00. Children under 6 are free; children under 18 only with an adult. Online tickets are direct purchases - via phone service the reservation time is 2 days. Tickets at the door if available.

Seating consists of unnumbered standing and sitting areas (over a thousand informal spaces, no roof). Outside drinks are not permitted, but picnic blankets and camping chairs are welcome - in rainy weather a raincoat is recommended. The concert park has licensed terraces serving drinks and light snacks. Doors to the exhibitions, restaurant, café, shop and terrace open at 12:00.

The estate has extensive free parking - arrive at least an hour before the event starts. There is no public transport, but concert buses arrive from various parts of Finland, and from Tampere you can take the Hopealinja ferry. Laukon kartano is located on the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi approximately 40 km south of Tampere; travel time from Helsinki, Turku and Pori is less than 2 hours.

Accessibility: wheelchair users have unobstructed access to the event, and an assistant can enter free with the same ticket. The venue has an accessible toilet and wheelchair ramp. The restaurant, café, shop and park are accessible; exhibition spaces are inaccessible due to stairs. Hearing loop is not available.
