Lieksa Brass Week

Lieksa Brass Week is North Karelia's largest classical music festival and the Nordic region's largest brass music festival. International artists perform in a diverse concert series, and you can follow the soloist competition from preliminary rounds all the way to the final.

Music courses welcome professionals, students, and amateurs alike. Lieksa is located in North Karelia on the EU's eastern border, and the surrounding countryside offers opportunities for outdoor activities alongside the festival.
