Kids' Saturday: Aarne Alligaattori & Viidakkorumpu, Happy Family Music and More Fun - Malmi Summer Events 2026

Kids' Saturday brings families to Malmitalo for a day of activities. The programme includes nature-themed crafts, mini-book and Matariki star-weaving workshops, family music and street dance - and concludes with Aarne Alligaattori & Viidakkorumpu taking the stage. All activities are free.

Programme details

Malmi Varustamo's nature point offers little ones research tasks and materials. At the swimming skills station, you can chat about children's swimming, and kids can play in a ball pit. Building a good everyday life presents sports and hobby ideas for autumn, plus hat painting.

At the Alone project workshop, participants create their own mini-books and weave Matariki stars. The happy family music is led by music master and children's musician Henna-Maija Kuki, known from the band Henna and Supersankarit.

The day concludes with Aarne Alligaattori & Viidakkorumpu: Aarne takes the stage with his safari-dressed friends Tobben and Jocken. Aarne has been watched on YouTube over 400 million times, and his music has sold multiple platinum and gold records in various countries.
