Bat Night Walk at Seurasaari

A nocturnal excursion to learn about Finland's bat species: guides explain the different types and observe them in the dusk using bat detectors. During the first part of the walk, participants attempt to spot bats emerging from buildings in the museum area. Seurasaari is excellent bat habitat where there are good chances to see various species. The route is easy to walk.

Meeting point: In front of Cafe Mieritz at the white bridge on Seurasaari.

The walk is free and requires no advance registration. It is part of the 2026 nature excursion calendar programme for the capital region.
