Matteo Melotto: Gora

During Forum Box's summer break, the space opens for Matteo Melotto's Gora - an exhibition and performance project for one evening on 11.7.2026 from 18.00 to 19.00. Free admission.

Gora emerged from an artist residency conducted in Helsinki, supported by Culture Moves Europe, Goethe-Institut, and Studio Rö. The work combines performance, video, textile sculpture, sound, drawing, and installation into a spatial narrative rooted in a post-spiritual reinterpretation of Finno-Ugric traditions. The artist positions himself in the work as a shamanic interface between body, landscape, memory, and technological mediation.

Matteo Melotto is a multimedia artist and fashion designer whose practice centers on identity renewal and post-spiritual inquiry. He employs performance, fashion design, artificial intelligence, generative projection, 3D modeling, and sound to create environments that explore individual and collective trauma, transforming their echoes into contemporary mythologies.
