Åland Opera Festival presents Mozart's opera The Magic Flute at the medieval walls of Kastelholm Castle. The opera is performed in Swedish and is suitable for the whole family. Duration is 2.5 hours with one intermission. Singers from Åland and the Swedish-speaking regions are accompanied by the Ålands Festspelsorkester under the direction of Alberto Hold-Garrido.

Tickets: adults 69 €, children and young people 0-21 years 25 €, VIP 99 € (includes champagne during the intermission). ÅAB Premium & Private prices: VIP 75 €, adult 50 €, child 20 €. Section C has partially restricted view - tickets 45 €.

Wheelchair spaces are unnumbered and located in the front of the parterre. A possible assistant receives free entry and does not need their own ticket.

Kastelholms slott is a medieval stone castle on the Åland Islands, with origins dating to the 14th century. It served for centuries as an administrative hub for the Swedish crown and is one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Finland. The castle is open to visitors and regularly hosts events and exhibitions. Wheelchair spaces are available on site.
