Summer Day on Jyväskylä's Rooftop

Matti Nykänen's observation tower and Mäkikahvio café are open to the public every day in July. The tower features two covered viewing platforms and an open space at the summit, offering a 360° panorama of the surrounding cityscape and natural landscape - even summer rain is welcome.

Mäkikahvio serves hot drinks, fresh pastries, cold beverages, and a rotating ice cream selection during opening hours.

Admission to the observation tower: adult 5 €, child/youth/student/pensioner 3 €, family 12 €. The event is organized by Jyväskylä Ski Club.
