Nature Tour: VIMMA x TIISU

In autumn 2026, Vimma tours Finland alongside their partner Tiisu. Each evening features two concerts and a discussion panel on local environmental issues, organized in collaboration with the local branch of the Finnish Nature Conservation League. Admission is free, and the tour is funded by the Kone Foundation.

VIMMA

Vimma is a seven-member indie rock band whose sound features strings and influences from pop, folk music, and hip-hop. The band's songs draw themes from the climate crisis, activism, and humanity's relationship with nature. The band consists of Eeva Rajakangas (vocals), Pessi Jouste (violin), Roope Jokinen (violin), Kalle Outila (guitar), Aino Kallio (piano), Santeri Kettu (bass), and Vilho Louhivuori (drums).

Vimma has released three albums: Meri ja avaruus (2019), Tornadon silmässä (2023), and Ei noi muut (2025). Tornadon silmässä received a nomination in the Critics' Choice category at the 2023 Emma Gala. In spring 2026, the band released the single Hei hei, a preview of their forthcoming fourth album.

TIISU

Tiisu is a new wave Finnish rock band consisting of Henrik Illikainen (vocals, songwriter), Väinö Karjalainen (bass), Riku Sonkkanen (drums), Petteri Pulkkinen (guitar), and Antti Vuorenmaa (keyboards). The band was formed in the early 2010s at Sibelius High School in Helsinki.

Tiisu gained recognition in 2015 with their debut album Elämän koulu, which YleX selected as album of the week. Their second album Tänne ei jää kukaan (2017) also received YleX's album of the week recognition. The comeback album III (2022), released after the pandemic, received excellent reviews. In February 2026, the band released their fourth album Kuuluisat viimeiset sanat, which explores themes of climate crisis, societal fractures, friendship's contradictions, and the absurd nature of humanity.
