Canoeing Trip: Petäjävesi Old Church (UNESCO) and Karikkoselkä Crater Lake

Meeting at 10:00 at Petäjävesi Old Church. The trip begins with a visit to the church, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a renowned example of Finnish wooden architecture.

Before heading out on the water, the guide will cover paddling basics and safety instructions. No previous experience is needed. Paddling takes place on Karikkoselä, a crater lake formed by a meteorite impact. Along the way, you'll learn about the region's cultural and natural history, and the day includes a lunch break with outdoor cooking. The trip concludes around 17:00.
