Juurikkasaari offers open sauna sessions four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday) throughout the summer season on the shore of Lake Päijänne. The sauna is a mixed-gender facility, so swimwear must be worn.

Three saunas are available: a traditional wood-fired sauna, a landscape sauna (electric), and a wood-fired igloo sauna (K-18 only). Sauna opening hours can be found on the website. While enjoying the sauna, you can swim from the dock or the sandy beach, and shower facilities, changing rooms, and toilets at the beach sauna are free to use. The terrace offers refreshments and the beach grill serves grilled food.

Admission: adults 14.50 €, children 2-12 years 7 €. Payment can be made on-site or in advance through the online shop.
