Echoes of Eureka

Youth choir Vox Aurea performs the choral opera "Echoes of Eureka" composed by Eric Tuan, along with other works from the California tour programme, at Taulumäki Church. The choir departs in mid-July for San Francisco to participate in the international Golden Gate Choral Festival and also gives concerts in Eureka and Anchor Bay in Northern California.

The opera is composed by Eric Tuan, who directs the California-based Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir (PEBCC). The work's European premiere was presented last summer in the same church through a collaboration between Vox Aurea and PEBCC.
