Museum Canoeing from Ruustinna Shore

The excursion begins with lunch at Ruustinna's Aittakahvila café. Participants then learn the basics of canoeing and safety procedures before heading out on the water under guidance. The route passes through a calm lake area and is suitable for beginners as well.

The canoe route ends at Matoniemi shore, from where the group continues on foot through Mannila pine forest to the museum - the walking section is approximately 1.3 km through easy-to-traverse terrain. At the museum, a guided tour takes visitors through the exhibitions "Fransu 100 - Frans Toikkanen's 100th Anniversary Exhibition" and "Ansu - Artist-Graphic Designer Anneli Klemola". The exhibition showcases the works of Saarijärvi sculptor Frans Toikkanen (1926-2008) and the artworks of graphic designer Anneli Klemola (b. 1936). After the tour, coffee is served at the museum, after which the group walks back to the shore and canoes back to Ruustinna.
