Suonteen soitto: Aili Järvelä

Aili Järvelä is a singer-songwriter, composer, and musician with a folk music background. Her career spans solo albums, works for professional orchestras, big bands, choirs, and various instrumental ensembles, as well as musical composition. She has performed in award-winning folk music groups and worked as a freelance musician in numerous configurations. Järvelä won the 2026 Teosto Prize together with the Keski-Pohjanmaa Chamber Orchestra for the album "Vuori", which she recorded with them and which was also nominated for the Emma Prize.

In Suonteen soitto, Järvelä performs in an intimate duo concert with her guitarist Sigurdur Rögnvalsson. The programme features both new and classic material from her solo work.
