Stories in Gravestones - Old Cemetery Walk: Craftspeople of the Past

Old gravestones often mention a profession - but who were these people really? The walk explores the lives of townspeople through gravestones: how they lived, what work they did, and how their professions were visible in Jyväskylä.

Walks are held on 6.7., 16.7., and 27.7. at 6 p.m. The starting point is the Old Cemetery gate on the Tourukaduvägen side, and the walk lasts 1.5 hours. Admission is 10 € per person. The walk is conducted in Finnish.

Wheelchair access with assistance is available on the cemetery grounds.
